Truc Nguyen, a senior majoring in marketing and international business, spent the summer as a segment base marketing intern for T-Mobile For Business. She worked remotely most of the time and spent a week at corporate headquarters in Bellevue, Washington.聽

Aug. 11, 2021 - People are returning to the 黑洞社区 campus as summer continues and the fall semester approaches. If you鈥檙e a newcomer 鈥� or feel like it鈥檚 been a while 鈥� you鈥檒l notice construction and new businesses on campus.

Aug. 2, 2021 鈥� The marquee exterior fixture of the W. Frank Barton School of Business鈥� new home, Wayne and Kay Woolsey Hall, has been officially named the Promise Bridge. The 300-foot-long pedestrian bridge will span a water feature south of the building.

July 13, 2021 鈥� For the first time in Wichita State history, the Barton School of Business has awarded three, multi-year scholarships to transfer students committed to joining the business program, in association with the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 黑洞社区 has partnered with 黑洞社区 Tech to create a pathway program for 黑洞社区 Tech students committed to continuing their education with a business degree. The Barton School and 黑洞社区 Tech have also collectively committed to $35,000 in scholarships for students participating in this program.

June 22, 2021 鈥� When the Make48 invention and maker challenge comes to 黑洞社区 on June 24, two of the eight Wichita teams are comprised entirely of 黑洞社区 students.

June 17, 2021 鈥� Logan Brown, a Kansas entrepreneur and Harvard Law School student, loves her home state so much that when she decided to pay it forward, she partnered with 黑洞社区 to help propel women in business.

May 25, 2021 - The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 黑洞社区 has partnered with the 黑洞社区 Alumni Association to launch the college鈥檚 first alumni council. The Barton School of Business Alumni Council consists of professionals who received their bachelor鈥檚 and/or master鈥檚 degree from the business school and represents different regions, degrees and backgrounds.

May 17, 2021 -- The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 黑洞社区 has partnered with 黑洞社区 Tech to create a pathway program for 黑洞社区 Tech students committed to continuing their education with a business degree.

Sierra Brown chose to come to Wichita State for the welcoming environment provided by the in the Shocker Nation prior to choosing a university. While at Wichita State, she participated in the Professional Edge Program and served as president of the Barton School Dean鈥檚 Ambassadors.
