Student Ambassador Society (SAS) Leadership Conference

High school seniors who apply for fall 2025 admission by March 1, 2025 will be automatically considered for freshmen scholarships.

Members of the 黑洞社区 Student Ambassador Society invite high school students to Wichita State for a day of inspiration and leadership.

We welcome high school students of any grade level to attend.

The 2025 Student Ambassador Society Leadership Conference gives high school students a chance to discover what makes them a leader. Students will attend breakout sessions and a keynote presentation and learn how to adapt to new experiences, collaborate and explore the limitless boundaries of leadership.

Please note, this is a program for high school students only. No program is available for parents, teachers, or guests.

$15 (includes lunch and T-shirt)

9 to 9:30 a.m. Check-in and Shocker Experience Fair
9:30 to 10 a.m. Welcome and overview
10 to 10:35 a.m. Breakout Room 1
10:40 to 11:15 a.m. Breakout Room 2
11:20 to 11:55 a.m. Breakout Room 3

12 to 12:40 p.m. Lunch
12:50 to 1:40 p.m. Keynote Address
1:45 to 2:30 p.m. Problem-solving Session / Pair and Share Session
Optional 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. Campus Tours
- We will offer an optional campus tour after the conference. The tour will give a closer look at classrooms, housing and campus life at Wichita State.
