Mike Hill Fellowship
The Mike Hill Fellowship is an endowed fellowship initiated in 2001 to honor Mike Hill鈥檚 thirty-seven years of public service in behalf of the citizens of Wichita and Sedgwick County. After rising over a period of twenty-one years from beat officer to Commander of Special Investigations in the Wichita Police Department, Mike Hill was elected Sheriff of Sedgwick County in 1984 and reelected to that office for three additional terms. Throughout his public service, Mike Hill provided a model of excellence in the management of law enforcement operations. The Mike Hill Fellowship is intended to provide financial assistance to individuals with education and experience in law enforcement who seek to advance in the field of public management and complete the Master of Public Administration degree.
