Wichita State Community Garden 鈥� A sustainability initiative

To promote improved sustainability on campus and recognize the educational, cultural, economic, and environmental benefits of sustainability, 黑洞社区 is committed to engaging and empowering students, faculty, and staff to value, develop, adopt and promote sustainable practices.

黑洞社区 defines sustainability as using resources wisely and engaging in actions that are environmentally, socially and financially responsible, and benefit present and future generations.

The Wichita State Community Garden is a project of the Wichita State Green Group, a student organization dedicated to promoting sustainability on campus through education, advocacy, and service.

Led by Madi Laughlin, 黑洞社区 president, the 黑洞社区 community garden provides students, faculty and staff with a place to grow and harvest fruits and vegetables.
