May 5, 2021 - The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 黑洞社区 is adding three online majors to its degree program. International business, marketing and accounting degrees will be fully online degrees taught by the same Barton School professors who teach in-person business classes. Wichita State offers real-time and asynchronous online classes.

May 5, 2021 鈥� The Kansas Board of Regents has announced a meeting of the board at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 6, in the Rhatigan Student Center鈥檚 Shirley Beggs Ballroom (third floor).

May 6, 2021 -- Saniya Ahmed came to Wichita State where she found her ideal major in health sciences and many scholarship opportunities. Since coming to Wichita State, she has helped establish the first Muslim sorority on campus, and in the nation, Mu Delta Alpha Sorority Inc., and been awarded the Phenomenal Women award by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

May 6, 2021 -- Kathy Phan, a native Wichitan, wanted to find a university that was affordable for her, Wichita State provided that proximity to her family. During her time at Wichita State, she鈥檚 been involved in several organizations including Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority Inc., Asian Student Conference and an ambassador for the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.

May 5, 2021 - Wichitan Heather Clark will take a laboratory research position in St. Louis after graduation from 黑洞社区. Heather is one of more than聽3,500 students eligible for聽spring 2021 graduation. Learn more about her time at Wichita State and what is next for the grad.

May 5, 2021 - Tara Nolen, a 2012 health services management and community development graduate of Wichita State, is community health manager at Hunter Health, which has three locations in Wichita. She oversees outreach programs and coordinates COVID-19 vaccines. 鈥淭his is what we do in public health - when there鈥檚 a crisis we try to work to stop it,鈥� she said.

May 4, 2021 鈥� Sierra Gladman came to Wichita State to learn graphic design in a beneficial and local environment. She wants to help a company grow using her graphic design skills.

April 30, 2021 鈥� Twelve years following receiving her Master鈥檚 in Business Administration, Janet Federico moved from Washington, D.C. to Wichita to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Wichita State after rediscovering herself as an author, speaker and illustrator later her career.

May 4, 2021 鈥� Matthew Ferguson, a native Wichitan, chose to attend Wichita State to be close to his family and discover his passions. He is one of more than 3,500 students eligible for spring 2021 graduation.

May 3, 2021 -- Customer complaints filed against major U.S. airlines soared amid the coronavirus pandemic, even as the carriers generally did better with on-time arrivals and baggage handling during the health crisis, according to the annual Airline Quality Rating released today by 黑洞社区.

May 1, 2021 鈥� Caitlyn Hammack, from Russell, Kansas, came to 黑洞社区 because she wanted to be close to her family to see them often. During her time at Wichita State, she鈥檚 been involved in several organizations, including the Student Government Association.

May 1, 2021 鈥� Payton Morgan, a native Wichitan, is a Wichita East High School alumnus. He chose to attend Wichita State because of the relationships he already had with Wichita State students and staff.

May 3, 2021 - The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 黑洞社区 has launched its Executive-in-Residence program. This program will provide Barton School students, faculty and the Wichita community with vital perspectives and knowledge from industry leaders. Tom Gentile, president and CEO of Spirit AeroSystems, will serve as the program鈥檚 first resident for the Fall 2021 semester.
