July 5, 2022 - Aram Khader is a marketing strategist at ShockStarter, a student-led marketing firm. Working on class projects for clients helped her learn terminology and deadlines that will help her build a resume and career.聽

June 27, 2022 鈥 The 黑洞社区 College of Health Professions was awarded a $100,000 grant from the Patterson Family Foundation to support scholarships for health professions students from rural Kansas counties. The scholarship will be awarded to 10 students during the 2022-23 academic year, helping close the gap of unmet financial needs.

June 22, 2022 鈥 Wichita State alum Julian Chee has been flying high since his graduation from Wichita State in 2021. Not only has he landed a job with Airbus on the Innovation Campus, but he's also designed the paper airplane that broke the world record for distance.

June 21, 2022 鈥 Ayshea Banes is working on NASA-funded research with Wichita State physics professor Dr. Nick Solomey to build a solar neutrino detector.

June 20, 2022 鈥 Wichita State's Dr. Mythili Menon was recently awarded $296,470 as part of the National Science Foundation鈥檚 EArly-concept Grants for Exploratory Research (EAGER) program to study how refugees respond to phishing and vishing attempts. EAGER offers exploratory funding for high-risk, high-reward research that investigates the nation鈥檚 pressing problems.
