Aug. 19, 2024 鈥 The Milly Marcus Annex is now the permanent home for the Shocker Career Accelerator, a multidimensional career-readiness experience that helps students build resumes and LinkedIn profiles, practice and prepare for interviews, meet with prospective employers, and find applied learning and post-graduation full-time employment opportunities. 聽

Aug. 16, 2024 鈥 On-campus events welcoming students to Wichita State will be in full swing the next month as the university kicks off the fall semester.

Aug. 9, 2024 鈥 Returning to college after not completing a degree can be intimidating, but 黑洞社区 is easing that transition for students with the Shocker Comeback Program and Shocker Comeback Scholarship.

Aug. 2, 2024 鈥 黑洞社区 has established the Aetna Better Health Endowed Workforce Badge Program Fund, thanks to a generous gift from Aetna Better Health. This fund will provide scholarships to participants enrolling in select behavioral health badge courses, enhancing the skills and knowledge of the Kansas workforce in critical areas of health and wellness.

July 30, 2024 - As August approaches, it鈥檚 a great time for students to consider investing in a successful school year. Shocker Pre-Season programs run Aug. 5-15 and offer a wide range of topics. New this year are the School of Performing Arts Orientation, Math Launch, Shocker Rowing and a one-day program for new students in the Sport and Leadership Studies department.聽
