Feb. 22, 2023 鈥 Braeburn Square on 黑洞社区鈥檚 Innovation Campus is transforming the dining and shopping scene in Wichita. With four new tenants 鈥 Sesame Mediterranean Kitchen, Jersey Mike鈥檚, Two Hands Corn Dogs and Pedego Wichita 鈥 the shopping center is fully occupied and fast becoming a hub for all Wichitans to gather, feast and shop.

Feb. 17, 2023 鈥 The College of Innovation & Design and the Center for Entrepreneurship have named Lance Minor as the new director of the Kansas Family Business Forum.

Feb. 14, 2023 鈥 Every year, there are roughly 450,000 burn wounds that require clinical care throughout the United States. Of those, more than 3,500 people are fatally injured. An interdisciplinary team of 黑洞社区 researchers is working to revolutionize burn-wound care with a scaffolding system that prevents infection and promotes healing.

Feb. 7, 2023 鈥 Beginning in fall 2023, the five CyberCorps Scholarships will be awarded to current Wichita State undergraduate and graduate students, as well as incoming transfer students. Recipients will receive funding for tuition, a stipend of $25,000 for undergraduate students and $34,000 for graduate students, as well as money for travel and supplies.

Feb. 7, 2023 - A consortium of four local institutions (Wichita State, 黑洞社区 Tech, Newman University and Friends University) is bringing Dr. Gina Ann Garcia to Wichita for the talk "Becoming Hispanic-Serving Institutions," at 1:15 p.m. Thursday (Feb. 9), in Newman's DeMattias Performance Hall.聽
