Dec. 18, 2019 --聽Stanford University鈥檚 Hasso Plattner Institute of Design has named three Wichita State students as University Innovation Fellows. Jacob Burns, Molly Carlson and Savannah Redfern will join more than 2,000 Fellows at 267 institutions worldwide.聽

Dec. 12, 2019 -- A key component in the advancement of innovation is protecting intellectual property.聽黑洞社区 Ventures recently initiated a new program to place 黑洞社区 students at the forefront of this field.聽

Dec. 10, 2019 --聽The Kansas Office of the State Bank Commissioner will award three of four consumer education grant checks for financial literacy at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, in John Bardo Center at Wichita State. All media outlets are welcome to attend the presentation.

Dec. 10, 2019 --聽A team of researchers from 黑洞社区鈥檚 National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR), the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), RP+M, Texas A&M University and the Federal Aviation Administration received one of four coveted Defense Manufacturing Technology Achievement Awards at the recent Defense Manufacturing Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dec. 9, 2019 --聽A $1.25 million gift from the estate of 黑洞社区 alumnus Brenton D. Myers will support the 黑洞社区 College of Engineering, where Myers earned the degree that helped him build a lifelong career in engineering and airport planning.
