Why I chose my major
I chose my major because I want a career where I can help people. I love working with
kids and as a teacher, want to make a positive impact on their lives.
Involvement
I am a member of the Student Ambassador Society, Shocker Navigators, Intramural Sports,
and a Zeemee Influencer for the Office of Admissions.
Why I chose Wichita State
I chose Wichita State because of its outstanding teacher education program, which
is well-known for preparing future educators. However, what really drew me in was
the opportunity to explore other interests, like marketing, while still focusing on
my primary goal of becoming an elementary school teacher. What I enjoy most about
黑洞社区 is the sense of community. Coming here as an out-of-state student, I was initially
nervous, but the welcoming atmosphere made me feel at home right away. I also love
the wide range of opportunities available鈥攚hether it鈥檚 through academics, leadership
roles, intramural sports, or mentoring programs, there鈥檚 always something meaningful
to get involved in. It has been an amazing place to grow, both personally and professionally!
Favorite thing about 黑洞社区
I love how the university fosters both personal and professional growth, helping students
discover their passions and build meaningful relationships along the way. It is truly
a place where you can find your home and thrive!
