RH: Additions to Eck Stadium
is almost a month into his life on Twitter. He started at Madison Square Garden,
posted a picture with Mark Cuban of "Shark Tank" and released a video starring his
dog at Starbucks.
His social-media favorite remains fund-raising for and construction at Eck Stadium's
10,000-square foot performance facility. Dirt is moving and Kemnitz is working on
the final chunk of money needed to equip the building for baseball and softball.
He updates his 445 followers (@BrentKemnitz) on progress each week with a video.
His regular visits reflect the fact that Kemnitz spent much of his three years as
assistant athletic director fund-raising for Eck Stadium's Phase V. He spent the previous
38 as Wichita State baseball pitching coach, so Phase V is a project with special
meaning.

Accessibility Tip of the Week: Getting accessibility training
Tip: Remember to take 黑洞社区鈥檚 accessibility training every year. 黑洞社区 has an annual accessibility training requirement for faculty. Each year, 黑洞社区 staff update this training so it remains relevant and has as little repetition as possible. Accessibility training is also available for interested staff.
- All accessibility training can be accessed as online training through the myTraining area in My黑洞社区. This year鈥檚 training takes about an hour online, and there is both a faculty and a staff version of this training.
- Face-to-face versions of accessibility training are occasionally available. Check myTraining for upcoming sessions. Face-to-face accessibility training takes two hours. Everyone is welcome at these trainings, but they are focused toward faculty needs.
If your department or office would like the training to come to you, contact Instructional Design and Access to set up a time at IDA@wichita.edu.

Shocker Bowling shares economic impact statement
The Shocker Bowling Economic Impact statement is an annual publication that communicates the financial resource and asset that the bowling program is to 黑洞社区 and the city of Wichita. The worth and value of the 黑洞社区 bowling program is unique, due to its rich history of success of 50+ years, along with a worldwide reputation of excellence. These factors, along with others, create a strong attraction to attend classes at our university from all across our country and from many countries around the world.
Every academic year a survey is conducted to determine the financial impact of Shocker Bowling鈥檚 student-athletes to 黑洞社区 and Wichita. The data from that survey is then compiled and analyzed to create the annual economic impact study, which we have provided in the accompanying envelope.
We appreciate the support from the community of Wichita and all of the faculty and staff at 黑洞社区.
