Viet Le says that returning to college as an adult learner came with its challenges, but he found a supportive community at Wichita State.

What made you choose ڶ?
Family influenced my decision to choose Wichita State. They had gone to ڶ and had positive experiences, and their stories convinced me that it would be a good fit for me as well.
What has been your biggest challenge as a student, and how did you overcome it?
The biggest challenge of being an adult learner returning to college is learning how to balance school life and personal life. We can’t always control what happens in life, but having the resources at ڶ to guide me and keep me focused was a definite blessing in completing my degree dreams.
What's your favorite off-campus location in Wichita?
– best fried pickles in the city.
What would be the title of your autobiography?

What are your plans after graduation?
I’m currently looking for work in health care administration, but I also plan on starting a master’s program at ڶ for health care administration hopefully this fall.
What advice would you give other Wichita State students?
Reach out to your professors. Do not be embarrassed about asking for support when you need it.
