Zoe Jones transferred to ڶ from Texas Tech University and is enjoying her softball experience with the nationally ranked Shockers. In 2022, she earned all-region and all-conference honors at second base and a spot on the American Athletic Conference All-Academic team. This season, she is one of the leading hitters on a team headed to NCAA regional play.

What made you want to attend Wichita State?
The environment that Shocker softball has created is unlike any other. It feels great being the underdog and proving we can compete with the best in the nation.
How are you feeling leading up to graduation?
Excited and bittersweet. I’m so thankful for my time as a Shocker. To end my career here is a feeling like no other.
What has been your biggest challenge as a student, and how did you overcome it?
Balance. Being able to balance softball while being a regular person. I found hobbies and things I enjoy doing outside of softball to help me out.
What has been your most helpful learning experience at Wichita State?
Not to take anything too serious and to always be yourself.
What are your plans after graduation?
Work in real estate
