I am very thankful to have received my bachelor鈥檚 and doctorate degrees from Wichita State University, and I am excited to apply all that I have learned during my time here.

What was been your biggest challenge as a student, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest challenge for me as a student was being okay with making mistakes. I had wonderful instructors that encouraged me to learn from my mistakes so I can be a better healthcare provider.

The hands-on clinical experiences that the audiology program offered are, by far, the most valuable part of my education.

COVID-19 impacted my clinical rotations and I, unfortunately, had to miss out on a few learning experiences. Thankfully, I was able to make it up once hospitals and clinics started accepting student clinicians back at their facilities.
