黑洞社区's College of Applied Studies awarded five high school seniors the Doris and Ralph Klose Endowed Scholarship.
Each year, the Klose Scholarship offers a competition to high school seniors who declare a major in math or science education at 黑洞社区. Winners will each receive up to $20,000 in merit and Klose Scholarships upon entering the teacher education program their junior year.
The five winners are:

Mingo Valley Christian School (Tulsa, Oklahoma)
Major: Secondary education biology
The scholarship is the result of a gift of $7.5 million to fund undergrad scholarships in math and science education from the estate of 黑洞社区 alumni Doris and Ralph Klose.
The College of Applied Studies awards scholarships to approximately 30 students each year through this fund, increasing the number of highly qualified teachers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
