Student-athlete Tabitha Brown finds a balance between school and sports

Tabitha Brown is a senior studying Sport Management at Wichita State. She's also a standout member of the Shocker Volleyball team that earned a top-16 seed in the 2017-18 NCAA Tournament.

Tabitha is from Spring, Texas, and comes from an athletic family: Her brother, Zach, played for the Shocker men's basketball team, and her mom played volleyball at the University of Houston.

As an honor roll student, she has made it a priority to find the right balance between her school work and her sport.

"I just think being responsible and being able to manage my time reasonably always helps," she says.
