Suzie Wright with child

Wichita State student Suzie Wright, a social work major, had the opportunity to work with children through an applied learning experience at the Wichita State Child Development Center.

She says the experience taught her hands-on lessons in working with young children.

"The Child Development Center at Wichita State has prepared me as a social worker by exposing me to a younger age group, children with different backgrounds and interaction techniques that I can use in my practice of social work."
