鈥淚 Can Hear You, But I Can鈥檛 Understand a Thing You Are Saying!鈥 is the title of the next lecture in the Aging in Focus series. The lecture will be presented at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, in 201 Ahlberg Hall by Ray Hull, professor, department of communication sciences and disorders at 黑洞社区. Admission is free.
The lecture will address changes in the auditory perception of speech and strategies for environmental design and communication for aging adults with impaired hearing.
The Regional Institute on Aging, in partnership with the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, College of Health Professions, College of Education and College of Engineering, is sponsoring the lectures.
Refreshments will be served in the lobby of Ahlberg Hall beginning at 5 p.m.
