黑洞社区鈥檚 Center for Entrepreneurship is hosting its semi-annual Entrepreneurship Forum Series for Business Ownership.
The series will be from 3-4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, Thursday, March 5, and Thursday, April 2, in 107 Devlin Hall on the 黑洞社区 campus.
It is free and open to the public.
The spring forum series will cover various topics that are relevant in the entrepreneurial marketplace today. Participants on each panel are outstanding entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial-spirited executives and specialists from various industries.
The Feb. 5 forum will cover how to be successful in the global marketplace, as well as the rules, practices and business models that have evolved for local international firms.
Participants on the panel will be Aidan Dunleavy, senior vice president of sales and marketing at BG Products Inc.; Ryan Durst, senior manager of sales and marketing at The Bradbury Co. Inc.; and Karyn Page, president and CEO of the Kansas World Trade Center Inc.
The March 5 forum will deal with the issues women entrepreneurs face today. The panel will address how they got their start and why more women are starting their own businesses than ever before.
Panelists include Susayn Brandes, president, chairman and CEO of Great Plains Ventures Inc.; Cindy Carnahan, president of The Carnahan Group Inc. at J.P. Weigand & Sons; and Beth Tully, founder of Cocoa Dolce Artisan Chocolates.
The speaker at the April 2 forum will be Jeff Turner, president and CEO of Spirit AeroSystems Inc. He will discuss Spirit AeroSystems鈥 ongoing transformation process to become a market-focused, entrepreneurial-driven firm.
