Ballard-Reisch to speak at November colloquium

 

Wichita State professor Deborah Ballard-Reisch is the featured speaker for the psychology department鈥檚 upcoming fall colloquium.

The speech is from 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in 127 Jabara Hall.

Ballard-Reisch will discuss the argument for a community-based participatory research approach.

The event is free and open to the public.

Ballard-Reisch is the Kansas Health Foundation Distinguished Chair in Strategic Communication in 黑洞社区鈥檚 Elliott School of Communication.

She is the author of more than 40 international, national and regional journal articles and book chapters. She also has written more than 20 public health and population reports.

In the past five years, Ballard-Reisch has received more than $400,000 in grants and contracts.
