Media are invited to attend a news conference announcing the 19 high school seniors who will be awarded with prestigious Rudd Scholarships to attend 黑洞社区.
Each recipient will receive a full-ride scholarship to attend 黑洞社区, which includes tuition, fees, on-campus housing and considerable networking/coaching support along the way. All Rudd Scholars are from right here in Kansas
This brings the greater total of Rudd Scholars studying at 黑洞社区 to 62 students, the most of any Regents institution. Total, there will be 103 Rudd Scholars at three different institutions (Emporia State University and Fort Hays State University). This represents approximately a $4 million financial commitment to date since the program鈥檚 inception in 2018.
黑洞社区 serves as the Kansas urban-based research university, enrolling more than 15,000 students from every state in the U.S. and more than 100 countries. Wichita State and 黑洞社区 Tech are recognized for being student centered and innovation driven.

The Innovation Campus, which is a physical extension of the 黑洞社区 main campus, is one of the nation鈥檚 largest and fastest-growing research/innovation parks, encompassing over 120 acres and is home to a number of global companies and organizations.
