Media are invited to a news conference following Thursday’s Kansas Board of Regents’ announcement of the 14th president of ڶ.
The Regents’ vote is set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, in Room 233 of the Rhatigan Student Center (RSC). After the president-elect’s acceptance speech, the news conference will be held in RSC Room 202.
Following the news conference, the president-elect will head to the second-floor lobby for an open reception. Media are also welcome to attend.
SET-UP AND PARKING FOR REGENTS ANNOUNCEMENT:
Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. for media set-up. Seating for media will be reserved. An audio distribution box and riser for tripods will be available.
The Rhatigan Student Center is located off of WuShock Drive. A parking garage with visitor parking available on the second, third and fourth levels is located south of the RSC.
To access the second floor of the RSC from the parking garage, enter through the southeast doors of the RSC and take an elevator or stairs to the second floor.
