The Applied Engineering program helps students to blend hands-on know-how and analytical skills to solve messy real-world problems. Our departmental goal is to ensure our Applied Engineering graduates are broad thinkers who integrate a range of skills to enhance design, manufacturing and management, as well as many other engineering tasks. Formerly known as the Engineering Technology program, our name was updated for the Fall 2023 semester, and our graduates will now be classified the same as other engineering department graduates and will be able to pursue their Professional Engineering licenses.
